Concert of talented emerging artists in Zagreb

On 24 June 2023, the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb presented a special concert programme with talented Croatian emerging artists, who had won the Opera Scholarship of the CNT. The concert of CNT Opera scholars took place in the foyer of the opera house and was focused on presenting new talents to the local audience, which was invited to enjoy the special concert. Beautiful opera arias were interpreted by soprano Nikolina Hrkać, mezzo-soprano Dina Jularić Ivančić and bass-baritone Benjamin Šuran, along with the piano accompaniment by Ante Sladoljev.

CNT Opera recently launched the Opera Scholarship Program, through which it provides support for professional development of the new talented artists, at the highest level.

The scholarship program is the result of the CNT Opera's efforts to upgrade connections with the new generation of artists. Scholars of the CNT in Zagreb come from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Switzerland. The management of the CNT in Zagreb takes special care of the inclusiveness and diversity of creative team members – especially when it comes to ensemble and authors.
